So, I keep getting these emails from this Christian guy who is accusing me of hating Christians, of being judgemental, and refusing to apologize (for what, I havent a clue...) Is this true? Do many of you feel I am a Christian hater or basher??

Here are some samples of what he says: "After reading your most recent email about my 'judgments' of you, I couldn't help but laugh. You just talk in circles. Buddy, you have absolutely no idea what it means to be a hypocrite, and as a matter of fact, I think this shows you're probably a very sheltered person (yes, Im a criminal investigator and Ive lived all over the world - some sheltered life Ive led, eeh?). I also find it to be humorous that you spend so much time arguing with Christians over their beliefs when you really have no understanding of our beliefs. For one, you have no idea what it means to judge. The type of judgment that Christianity prohibits is entirely different from the one you're talking about.

lol It's not a sin if I say that someone hates Christians.

Second, read this paragraph,"I am not trying to twist what I said - Im trying to put it into simpler terms so that YOU may understand what I originally had meant, which you keep taking out of context and twisting yourself, because you have some preconceived notion that I hate all Chrisitans." You're only listing things you believe to be true without providing any logic to back up your opinions. I'm getting the impression that you've trapped yourself by talking in circles, and now you can't find a way out. (anyone else misunderstand what I was saying there?)

You say that I started this whole thing, "all this could have been prevented, and you would have had no need to apologize for anything had you not acted like a hypocrite and judgemental person in the first place." That's a pretty accusatory statement there. In my first email, as I said, I had my best intentions. When you replied, you sounded pretty pissed that

I mistook you for hating Christians. (Was I supposed to be overjoyed that he called me a Christian hater?)

1) You never apologize for anything 2) You don't understand Christianity 3) You're quick to stereotype other people.
I finally understand you.

Is this acceptable behavior from a fellow Christian?? Please tell me youre not all like this...

You know buddy. I understand everything he is saying. As far as where he is coming from and what hes trying to say.

this guy is a fruitcake. Your one of the coolest athiests on here. and everything you say is well based and well founded. You dont say crap that dosent make sense.

I value your perspectives. and Christian haters are imagainary people designed by boys who have never grown up and instead of there parents telling them to stop being silly about monsters under the bed the got it in ther head that there were monsters under the bed.

and NEVER apologize for living. That is what I think many non christians will define as a sin. To apologize for your existence..... its pathetic. Never apologize unless you feel you acted in an incorrect way.

wait, hold up: " The type of judgment that Christianity prohibits is entirely different from the one you're talking about. "

so there's a type of judgement god actually allows? what's the difference? i thought judge lest ye be judge was pretty cut and dry. must be one of those interpretation things.

but to answer your question, no i don't think you're a hater.

I don't really care for what other people say about Christians unless if it is something very hateful. you feel the way you want to feel about Christians I can't change that neither can the person sending those emails.
p.s I am a Christian.

No So-crates, I cannot honestly call you a "Christian hater" -- you're a lover, not a fighter ; )

To my Christian peeps: show the man respect and you WILL receive it back, whether he agrees with you or not.

Don't know the whole story. I'm a christian and ill spend a few moments telling you about God's love. HE sent his son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins. He was a prefect sinless sacrifice and was accepted of God to pay the payment for your sins. You have a free will and God loves you enough to let you choose your own path. There are 2 paths. Die in your sins and go to hell or accept the free gift that Jesus offers and you will be save and enjoy eternity in heaven.

I suppose that depends on the reason they oppose welfare and what they propose as an option... Very few things are black and white as partisan simpletons like to represent them.. For example I opposed Nixon Federalizing the Welfare System for the very reasons many liberals are critical. Local and state governments likely have a better handle on the problems in their own communities and can formulate more effective solutions than some Washington Bean Counter with a cookie cutter plan pushing down from the top. This understanding is the basis for many liberal groups calling for more block grants to states and communities -so the communities can implement local plans that work better. I advocate eliminating Federal Welfare and rolling it back to the states. Why because in addition to cutting administrative costs by close to 25% the most innovative and successful approaches have been those introduced and implemented by the states.

To call you a hater would require a knowledge of your heart condition. Only God knows that.

God bless you.

"Hate" is a luxury ugly dudes like ourselves cannot afford. Except, of course, if it's in the form of self loathing.

We don't care what SOMEONE ELSE says, dear one, only you, the question asker.

DO you hate us Christians?
