This boy said he liked me, but then went out with someone else, we stayed close but he kept saying to me how he still liked me and he said to my friends that he only said yes to this other girl because he was scared i would say no.

Long story short they have broken up, and i have been hearing things about him saying mean things about me. So now i hate him, but ever sinse hes been talking to my friend and asking does she still like me, and has sent emails and tried to sit by me but every time i moved. And he has been talking to my friends about me asking to talk to me, telling them to get me to be friends with him again.

What should i do give him a chance and take things slow, because i still really like him.

Truely if it is meant to be then it will happen no matter what you or he does. But, remember we want what we cant have. He wants to be near you now because you act like you are mad at him even though you still have feelings for him. You might try talking to him and let him explain his side of the story. Remember there are always two sides to every story and the gossip you heard could be just that gospic. good luck and let your heart lead you.

Give him a chance, hearsay from friends usually ruins things between high school lovers because they're usually wrong in their assumptions.

When I was a strapping young lad, I remember asking several girls out, sometimes all at once. We would pile into the back of my mom's station wagon and play "Hide the Weasel" or "Bottoms Up!" until she realized what was going on and pulled the car over.

My point is this, don't let the good times pass you by. While you're deciding whether or not to show this kid the time of his life, you're friends are out having the time of their lives...join the crowd!

I dont know sounds really confusing and wishy washy. I would approach him and ask him whats up why he was talking about you behind your back. Tell him that if he ever gets upset with you to talk to you about it. Things will start rolling once you start talking to him it will open the doors of communication. good luck

Do you really believed that he is a guy that you would wanna date after he have said bad things about you?You should date some one that respects you and your feelings I mean I don't see why he dated someone else.Doesnt that make you doubt his feelings about you?The choice is yours.if you wanna be friends with him then thats cool, if you wanna be more than that, then think about it clear headed. Make your coices by folllowing your gut.

well since i'm a guy myself i think you ought to just leave him alone for now. if this guy really liked you then he would come up to you in person and tell you not have someone else do it. if he also liked you he wouldn't be talking bad about you.

you did not give your age or the boy's age, but yes--GO SLOW until you feel comfortable--or break it off if you do not.
