Yep. From the official Florida driver's handbook (hosted by Lowest Price Traffic School, I'm not making this up):

"Red

Come to a complete stop at the marked stop line or before moving into the crosswalk or intersection. At most intersections, after stopping, you may turn right on red if the way is clear. Some intersections display a "NO TURN ON RED" sign, which you must obey. Left turns on a red light from a one-way street into a one-way street are also allowed."

If you are turning from a one way street and stop first, yes. as long as there is no sign posted, no left turn on red. The people that tell you no, hopefully are not in front of you sitting there like an idiot.

As long as you are turning from a one-way street to another one-way street and there is no sign posted or red arrow than yes it is legal.

In some areas it is legal. This does not cover the whole State. Check with local authorities.
