When i say tall i mean, like im 5ft 9 and my friend is 6ft 3 and for some reason i sorta wish i was as tall as him even though im the average size for a male, so my question is, do girls like tall men? because not every man will admit it, but they probably wish they was taller aswell, in my eyes a taller male than me is looks more powerful to a woman. And i think thats true. Anyway thank you. Opinions please!

Im not saying im short, i recently had a check up with my doctor and he said i was the perfect height for my age, and im 18 so im still growing, but i have this 16 year old friend and he's 6ft 3 and it makes me look small, even though 5ft 9 - 6ft is the average mans height. So dont take this the wrong way im not small, i just wish i was a little taller.

nah not all girls. 5'9 is good. I think as long as the guy is taller than she is it shouldn't be an issue.

Well, when you're a "shorty" like me, it sure seems that way. But what it really comes down to is that I was more afraid of the commitment and intimacy involved in nurturing and developing a relationship with a woman who really would have been the right thing for me. I was just using my short stature (5' 4") as an excuse.
Now don't get me wrong, there are definitely gals who prefer a tall guy, or least a guy who is taller than they are. But, there are plenty of gals to go around who have no height requirement. But, you do have to like yourself first and not desire something that you're not, you know, like trying to be some wanna-be Don Juan swordsman. Fantasy is fantasy, and reality is reality. You make the call.

I personally like taller men.I can't explain why, maybe its the feeling that he is in control.And by this i don't mean it bad. And also that nice feeling of looking up, staring into his eyes.Aniway there are some girls that prefer short guys.Short guys also have as much potential as tall guys.It's just a preference just as some guys like women with long legs.

This is all personal preference. Not all girls care about a guy's height.
Seriously, it shouldn't matter though. Though, I think any guy that's taller than 5'10" is kinda... ew.

Different girls like different things.I like tall men,but won't base whether or not I will date him on how tall he is. 5'9" is fine.
