Your statement assumes that all that is now may exist without end. If the "big crunch" comes to pass, it is theorized in some circles that when the universe reaches the condition of being a singularity, time as we know it will end. Thus an end to time, and without time eternity becomes a finite value.

Who said God had a beginning? I've found that there are many things beyond my understanding. I can't prove that I'm right or someone else is wrong--they have as much a right to their opinion as I do.
