Do delinquencies fall off your credit report 7 years after the 1st noted month of delinquency?

I'm trying to figure out what I should pay now and what I should just wait to go away.

7 years and 180 days from the date of last activity (DOLA) which would be the delinquency date.

Work on settling the most recent negative and work backwards. The older the delinquency, the less impact it has on your credit score. Of course paid off negatives always look better.

Derogatory accounts fall off 7-years form the date of first delinquency.
