I am looking for something between Ketel One, which is my favorite and I really enjoy, and Smirnoff, which is tolerable but not my preference. I have tried Skyy and do not particularly care for it. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Will you be mixing it or drinking on it's own?
Stolichnaya by itself. Popov for mixing.
Stoli is more expensive but you are drinking vodka by itself.
Popov is inexpensive and you won't especially notice because you are mixing.
This isn't what you want to hear, but you are looking for a quality/price compromise: Overall, straight up or in mixed drinks, for a moderate price, Smirnoff is your best choice in this situation.

Phillips UV 80 proof is good for around $11.00 per 750 ml., also you might try Pearl Vodka which retails around $18.00 per 750 ml.. I am also a fan of Three Olives as an in between High end and mid line vodkas.

I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with good ol' Smirnoff, but I also like Sveka. Sells for about $18.99 on sale for a 1.5L
Also, may be a regional brand, but the store in my area sells one called Russian Shot that is even cheaper and also pretty good.

Svedka vodka is middle of the road and goes for $20-25 for 1 1.5 liter bottle. Its great for mixed drinks that use Vodka where the taste isnt that important.

Rumor has it that Costco brand vodka is the same as GreyGoose. what happened is that Greygoose's vodka making place was sold to Costco along with the recipe. They pretty much make the same vodka for 1/2 the price!

You should try Three Olives, it's pretty good, then there is always Grey Goose, a favorite of mine!
It really depends on if you're drinking the vodka straight or mixing it. Three Olives is nice for mixing, and pretty good on it's own, and Grey Goose is great on its own.

Svedka was started by one the founders of Absolute, it's just as good just cheaper.
