My daughter wants to go on the trip to the UK next summer. It's very expensive and I'd like to hear from others before we commit. Thank you.

I'm elevan years old and going to attend a P2P event next year. Yes it is expensive but well worth it. I advise scrappbooking pictures of were she goes. How many people can say I went to UK this summer for vaction. Make sure discuss the signifigence of the things she see's this is a lifetime oppertunity and should not be wasted. Tell her to live in the moment and thank you for the oppertunity you have so kindly blessed her with.

This is a great opportunity for your daughter. If she is not in college yet and going to be applying for colleges, this is one thing the college will look at very highly and most likely will help her get accepted. It looks good on a resume as well. I think it is beneficial because it gives her experience and an open mind into the real world and meeting people as well. However you are the parent and you decide but being an ambassador for a school is very prestigious. She has an opportunity very few will get. good luck.
