Yes humans do have free will. God's angels do not. Satan exists as the evil will all humans posses. Satan does have free will. That is why he was cast out of Heaven. He is an attorney so be careful what you say and do. Do what you say and say what you mean. But Be Careful. Boo!!!

Look at this scripture in Job:
Job 1:6-7, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."
Satan was able to come before God's throne and talk with Him.
I think God has given all of man free will. As for satan, I know that God is sovereign. Satan is chained by God's will--no matter what the circumstance.
Great question.

Satan has the same amount of free will. He chose to try to take over God's throne and got kicked out of heaven. He then took over the underworld and is the cause of all evil. In the end times the Bible says he will be punished for thinking he is a God by being throne into a firey lake.

Presumably, Satan and the other angels had no free will, as that was supposedly the reason that man needed to be created, and yet 1/3 of them decided (free will) to rebel.
It would appear that Satan now has free will -- except that Job would indicate that he and god collaborate on who is to be afflicted with trials...
The alternative is that Satan is an angel that tries to help people reach enlightenment by afflicting and trying them.

I don't believe in Satan, but if I did, I would say more free will, because Satan would be lacking in conscience

Satan had a free will and he made his choice. The difference is that he was created extremely intelligent, so he didn't need to grow and learn and take time to decide which way to go. He chose instantly weather he would serve God and man or not. He was too proud to subject himself to the will of man(Christ) so he chose not to serve. The irony of it is that God still uses his services for His own purpose. And Satan is still subject to God and man. Even you and I can have power over Satan in Christ's name.

According to Christian mythology, he was originally an angel. How much free will did the angels have?
Also according to Christian mythology, he seems to have a lot more power than the average human being. FWIW.

He has a free will to roam the earth but there's one thing that God won't let him do is to take your life so he doe's it by other means. God allowed Satan to test job but stated to Satan i will not allow you to take his life, so Satan caused a storm to come up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He trys to take more free will and prove to us that he is better than God! He will make himself more known than God does. Because he has more to prove than He does. Satan is pushy and manipulative and is a liar. He trys to get away with more but, in reality he is a nothing!
