One lady told me that it's because of switching deodorants a lot, but I don't switch that much, & I still get them. I can use Dove deodorant for 6 mos. & still get the boils. Other people say it's the aluminum in it, but I don't see aluminum listed as an ingredient.

You may have ingrown hairs, if you shave your underarms. Almost all commercial deodorants contain aluminium in one form or another. Deodorants can and do irritate skin and cause blocked pores. Another culprit is bath powder. If what you have are truly boils, you should see your doctor, for boils are a staph infection and are dangerous if left untreated.

Many things can cause boils. The most scary thing though is diabetes. I hope your doctor has checked you for that. There is an increase in all sorts of skin eruptions with diabetes.

I got a few several years ago and I never found out what caused them. I had one that abscessed and had to be surgically removed. They can get very painful and you may need antibiotics to completely get rid of one.

Please get checked for diabetes.

I had that problem years ago and I had to stop using Teen Spirit and Secret deodarants. I use Dove now and it helped but I ocasionally got them still. I decied to start using my daily facial products on my arm pits and I exfoliate my arm pits every other night. Thats stopped them all together. Heres a link to to products I use, they can't be purchased in stores. I hope they help you out. http://www.beautipage.com/catalog/daily_dry.asp
