Well as said before me,sugar, salt, the amount of sugar and caffeine is terrifying, and they don't always admit to the amounts in the drink.
Also, some food and drink preservatives are carcinogenic, then you have the E numbers, they can have all sorts in them from ground up calves feet to chemicals that can cause people with hyperactivity to have real bad reactions .
They are a bad idea.
If you need energy try natural foods like bananas they have so much energy in them and they have lots of potassium too which helps keep your blood pressure normal,if your exercising and may have high blood pressure they are an amazing energy food.
The best energy drink for your muscles??....Water .
Many people who exercise never carry water and wonder why they get cramp its because the body needs fluid when exerting itself.
Makes me so mad seeing joggers without water bottles, they are storing up trouble by not hydrating.
So leave the commercial drinks alone they are always bad the only good thing about them is..nothing.lol

The large amounts of sugar and caffeine, but I do know of an energy drink that comes with no sugar, little or no carbs, about only 8 calories, and some flavor's you can get caffeine free. There called XS energy drinks, but you can only buy them from people who sell them. Here is where I get mine: http://live4Him.mychoices.biz

Caffiene and the sugar are really the only ingredients that are not good for you, The rest of the stuff that makes up an energy are from acids and vitamins that your body produces anyways.

Asphartame. a sugar substitute found in diet sodas, nutra sweets, sugar free drinks. many companies are pushing this ingridient because of its high profit without the danger it might cause to public. So might as well not drink at all.
