Galatians 1 tells us not to accept another gospel from ANYONE -- even angels.

Apparently, Joseph Smith forgot all about this when the "angel Marconi" told him how to understand the "ancient" scrolls he offered.......

In my personal research I have found that Mormon teachings are actually right in line with the Bible, more so than any other Christian religion. I conducted this research while I was an agnostic, so my views were unbiased. There were a couple of Biblical teachings I found, however, that Mormons didn't seem to follow: women should pray with their heads covered or else shave their head (1Cor 11:5-6), and women should not speak in church (1Cor 14:34-35). But I'm not sure how many other Christian churches actually follow these rules, either. I suppose one could argue, too, that this may have been Paul's personal opinion, or something that was simply customary of the time in which he lived.

Edit: I wish to point out that I agree with Isolde's comments which were offered in response to my answer. From the average Christian's perspective, however, these verses can only be interpreted as I have described; they do not have the benefit of modern revelation nor the familiarity with temple worship to properly understand these verses. So, from the viewpoint of the Bible (which is what the question asked), these would be Biblical teachings that Mormons don't follow.

The mormons could say - from the point of view of bible what are the main points that other Christiams are wrong about. If I say that the Mormon's are wrong about anything, I am judging and Jesus has told us not to judge. Have you lived amongst the Mormon People and experienced how they live? I have and they are a very family oriented family church, I have never looked for a point that they are wrong about. I accepted them and they in turn accepted me. The breakaway cult, that is in the news now, regarding many
wives are in way way to connected to the Mormon Church. They are a breakaway group that didn't want to abide by just having one wife, so they made a church of their own.
Each religion is different, but deep down all give the same instructions, love, have compassion, treat your neigthbour as you would treat yourself, and they do that. When we say anything is wrong, we are judging.

The main hole in the mormon theory is that when their prophet Joseph Smith invented the religion he was given a full translation of the bible. That flags went up when his prophetic version contained the same known errors of translation of the old King Jimmy's version. Oops. He didn't figure on a literate congregation. The second gaping whole was Brigham Young reaching the top of the mountain, looked down and saw a great body of water in the middle of the desert. He proclaimed it as the promised land. When they went down the mountain they found it to be the Great Salt Lake, not good for drinking or making a farm. Oops.

Mormons teach that As man is God once was, as God is man can become, In the Bible it was Satan that said man could become as God. The Bible teaches that there is One God and the Mormond teach there are many. The Bible says that if anyone EVEN an Angel preach another Gospel than that which was preached by the Apostles we are to not follow them. Well Joseph Smith proclaimed his "gospel" was received from the Archangel Michael, in the First place Michael could not do that only the Archangel Lucifer would contradict God. And even on the cover of the Book of Mormon it states "Another Gospel of Jesus Christ." They are indited by their own book and its lofty claims.

Your question should be "From YOUR point of view, what are Mormons incorrect about?"
We as Mormons believe the Bible and Book of Mormon go hand in hand, one testifies of the other and they both teach and testify of Christ.
It all comes down to interpretation...should I ask the question, From the bible point of view, what are Christians (or any other sect/religion) wrong about?
If you go looking for negativity, you will always find it.

The biggest thing is that they say that they believe the Bible to be the word of God and that the Book of Mormon is another Testament to it and that it does not contradict itself. The sad truth is that it does. The main point if you want to know for sure is from the main existance. Their main decendants were have said to derive from Israel and they moved and floated down into what is now Middle America. Then after the two tribes broke out in war then the winners migrated north into upstate New york. The flaw in this is that DNA researchers found no traces of DNA from Israel. This is not a Biblical view it is DNA and Science.

In response to the above comments about women. "Speaking" has been interpreted to mean "preside". Women may be called upon to teach, to bear testimony and offer prayer. They keep the spirit of Paul's instructions, and do not preside over men.

Women cover their heads in the temple, in the Lord's House.
