I am asking my sister to be my maid of honor this weekend. She is my only sister so she pretty much already knows, but I would still like to do something special to ask her. Anyone have any suggestion on fun/unique ways on how to ask her?

I'm not quite sure why you are making a game out of this. just ask her outright to be your maid of honor.

I handmade my sister a "maid of honor book" with my own dividers and ideas. I also got her flowers and I wrapped up the book and handed her the flowers and just asked her to be my maid of honor, she was thrilled. I also asked her at my engagement party so it was a party themed day. You could always take her to lunch or dinner and ask her.

When I asked my sister to be my MOH, I called her on the way home from my first dress shopping appointment. She was very upset she couldn't go so I called her on the way home, told her how the appointment went and asked her if she would be my MOH. I had already made up my mind and I was going to ask her while we were at the dress shop, but circumstances didn't allow that. She was thrilled to be asked and I promised her she could come to the rest of the dress appointments come hell or high water she would be there.

Since it is getting close to Halloween there should be come cheap costumes out there by now, buy her a maid costume, wrap it up, and give it to her at a lunch that is just for the two of you. When she opens it with a look of surprise, ask her to do it!

You should do a mock "Proposal." Take her out for a nice lunch or to get your nails done or something, and then about halfway through your nice day together, drop to one knee, present her with a pretty necklace or earrings in a jewelry box, and ask her if she'll be your M.O.H. She'll be touched AND think it's pretty funny!

I think it would be really cute if you bought one of those huge fake rings where the 'stone' is the size of a golf-ball. Then get down on one knee and 'propose' to her to be your MOH.
