He didn't get upset with Thomas:

"A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." "
John 20:26-29

He didn't get upset? Where do you see that? He asked the guy a question to get him to think about what he had just called Him. It was an affirmation..."why callest thou me good? There is none good but God..." As if to ask the guy, do you know really to whom you are speaking cuz if you did know then the rest of the conversation in that passage would have gone much differently. He asked the guy to think...which, he didn't do...

Mark 10
17And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
19Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
20And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
21Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

If the guy had percieved that he was indeed speaking to God do you think he wouldn't have given away his stuff and gone the Way? Why would God reveal Himself to such an unbeliever as this...Riches blind people to the Truth though they have good intentions. You can't serve two masters...notice that this guy used the term "master". Love in Christ, ~J~

'Why callest thou me good?' I don't see any upset- ing in this statement. Either in 'There is none good but one'. In a place He threw a challenge, 'who can state an accusation against me?' To my knowledge He was upset when people were not willing to receive good.

His statements, "I am the light, life, truth, way" upsets men.

Jesus was actually confirming that He is God there. If God is good and Jesus is good, then Jesus is God.

If you would accept Jesus as Your Lord and Savior this will become so very evident to you!

Think about it like this.

If you're right and there is no God, there is no benefit or reward.

Imagine "if" christians are right, what does that mean for you?
You must be a gambling man. Even if you are you'd better pray for 7 or 11.

You know if Muslims didn't misinterpret scripture they might know that the Bible isn't corrupt.

Can you give me the chapter and verse where Christ told the man not to call him good?
Matt. 19: 17
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mark 10: 18
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Luke 18: 19
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

None of these does Christ tell the man not to call him good.
He asks why the man is refering to him as good if none are good but God.

How about John 9:

35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

wrong i answered this in your last post. by saying this he was saying he was God. as Christ is sinless and can pay for our sins. he is good and there is none good but God. this is so funny in your last question you are running around trying to find the part in the bible that said it so you can use it to justify your attack on Christianity. you have just proved you are trying to attack something you know nothing about well done. nice try anyway i wish you better luck in the future.

hahaha why change your name from uniclin to zeek so quickly

Again, no upset Jesus in those passages. He was surprised that someone recognized him. These verses were meant to show that Jesus *was* God.

Come on, man. Think about it. This book was written decades after his death... do you really think the author was trying to say that Jesus was *not* good?

Remember, this was when Jesus was on the Earth in the flesh. This changes when he is resurrected. He allows the disciples to worship him. See the end of Luke.
