They love you. They're bringing you gifts. That's how cat's- especially females show their love. At least they leave them outside!
It used to bother me, but it's all God's design for cats to hunt prey. The best reward is to thank them, allow them back in- and then get rid of the "gift". I generally use store bags & put my hand in and grab and then I can pull it in without ever touching it- tie it up and voila'... gift gone. For the bigger ones you may need other tools.
My cats are mighty hunters and as much as it breaks my heart; I praise them and then bless the deceased critter's heart. Mine have an abundance of rabbits here and they actually scream.... it's beyond description; then I must chase them down and see if I can rescue them. 99% success.
God bless. Love you!

It's a gift! You always fill up their bowls with food, so they are doing you a favor and feeding you for once! My cat is an indoor cat, so he usually doesn't get to hunt live prey, but one year when we went on vacation we had mice in the timeshare house we stayed at and he caught several of them and placed them at our seats! Take it as a compliment, pick up the "meal" with a tissue, and toss it out...just don't let your cats see and be sure to thank them!
If you don't want your cats to be doing this, put a bell on their collars (make sure you use breakaway safety collars for outdoor cats) so that prey will hear them coming and be less likey to get caught. You could also bring your cats inside!

Everyone has pretty much said it. Your cat is bringing you gifts. Instead of eating the catch itself, it's bringing it to you (although you'd probably rather your cat ate it). Of course you should dispose of the present, just make sure your cat doesn't see you doing it! Your cat can feel hurt if you throw it out while it's watching, and probab;y try to get it back thinking that you don't understand.

It's a declaration of love. A way to tell you that you are family.
The cat, that lives with me right now, was of one of my neighbors'. At a certain moment, she started to bring me her 'presents'. She deposited them in the middle of our courtyard and called, like calling her kittens. That went on for a week or so, and then she started to sleep in a store room up under the roof and now she is definitely installed in my bedroom. Apparently those 'presents' (mice and lizards) were her tickets to our home. She has paid her fee, therefore she has a right to stay with us (according to her, and I agree).

They are showing you what good hunters they are and they bring it to the door because it is for you--their pack leader. My cat has even brought squirrels and one time a rabbit back. She will usually eat them after I have seen them and praised her for bringing it to me.

That's their way of saying they love you. They bring you their kill so you can be proud of them. I've received mice, rabbits, birds... You should feel special. I've never gotten a mole.

Believe it or not, your cat loves you,and to show his(her) affection to you,he(she) has an age old instinct thats been bred into her(he) to provide for his (her) family or "pride" as they call the lions. Every now and then, when he (she) catches something that he(she) is too full to eat,it will bring it back to its pride(which is you). lol...he(she) not expecting you to put it in a plate and microwave it for everyone, but its a nice thought.

They want you to praise them for the catch. And you should praise them for getting rid of the pests. On the other hand if the cat dosnt eat them, they could be diseased, possibly rabid so be careful.
