My fever is just due to something bad that I ate, coupled with very little rest I got in a couple of days. So what do you think, is it safe to eat an omelette?

if your not allergic to eggs, why not. are u diagnose with gastroenteritis too? if your digestive system is not having any problems, go enjoy the omelette.

ok, fever is NOT caused by something you ate...nor very little rest...so...you have some sort of viral illness, and as long as you are not vomiting...go ahead and eat an omelette...it isnt going to hurt you.

the food you ingest has nothing to do with the fever. the fever is caused by infection. drink lots of water.

Sounds like you have food poisoning. First of all you need to contact your doctor. If you are hungry, and you think you can stomach an omelet, then go ahead.
