I've always been against abortion but when I hear about cases where little girls as young as 9 get pregnant as a result of rape, it gets to be a serious dilemma in my mind.

Take a circumstance where the little girl may die if the pregnancy is continued. What if there comes this time when the parents of the little girl must choose between the life of either their daughter or their granddaughter? Which is the RIGHT choice? It seems like it is a choice left to us mortals.

Do you let it continue and hope for a miracle? Is that responsible?

If one is to believe some of the anti abortion people, let the mother die as long as the baby is safe as it is the mother's duty to die for her child to live. She is just a walking womb and not worth much more interest. She will have a nice burial though.

Personally I think that developing cells are not a Human being. A child has no business being pregnant - in religious terms I would probably say that it is against what God intended when he designed us - and that any parent willing to sacrifice their little daughter for a few developing cells are monsters. But then that's my personal belief.

if God causes things to happen in the world like miscarriage he performs mor abortions than all the abortions providers combined. It does seem to me that abortion should be a private thing and not left to people who have there childern raised. it should only be a subject that is ruled by women of child bearing age. It is so easy for men to condemn abortion and for woman married or passed the child bearing years. There are some thing that should only be control by those who can have it performed. That is why I am for the mothers right to chose and that is why abortion should not be used as a politicial tool. This country needs real help to solve real issues but we tend to get wrapp up in religion abortion and war. We should be focusing on roads and bridges and health care. We also should be planning for a future which seems to be that the world is ending soon so we dont have to. Or if we pray God will fix everything. Well here is a fact God is not wasting his time winning Emmys or football games or even finding you a parking place at the mall. So we need to get past matters that can be solve by the indiviual and start making progress in areas that affect everyone My answer here is god has no decision to make the family of this little girls has to make the decision

one of the favorite arguments of the christians is that it is a very rare case that pregnancies are terminated because of rape or because death will ensue if the fetus isn't aborted. While these situations don't happen incredibly often they do happen, but remember they view a fetus, embryo, zygote, cell whatever as a human life like you and me.

I have extremely strong feelings when it comes to abortion and I end up getting very emotional when I do argue my points because it breaks my heart to think a christian can justify such points of view and it is truly heartless. What if it is an extremely abusive relationship and the female does this to save the child and herself from further abuse... the christians would even have an answer for that... its sick. The new testament never once mentions abortion... but they will say abortion is killing.. it's an endless argument and extremely frustrating.

In the U.S., Church-run hospitals (currently 1/5th of all beds) have the right to refuse to perform an abortion until a mother's life in is danger.

Their solution: wait until the mother's life is in danger.

And they'll do that in cases where birth defects are so severe that the fetus cannot possibly make it to full-term. They'll do that when the fetus has functionally died, significantly increasing the chance of a life-threatening infection developing in the mother.

They'd rather wait until that infection develops. Only then will they act to save the mother's life.

Abortion is murder. I have heard of sad stories of how a girl gets pregnant, and indeed it is tragic. Somethin I wish noone had to go through. But nonetheless, That Life your trying to get rid of is God's creation. And as far as their life being in jeopardy? I believe every option should be taken to save both lives. If ones dies, we mourn for that life. because every life is meaningful

Living person supercedes potential life.

In the case of a nine year old that is even more obvious. Any parent who would not see that is negligent.

I encourage you to pray for answers. However my opinion is, go for the abortion. There is no right & wrong choice. God himself is righteousness. It's not up to us to judge.

It's called free-will. Just as you have the choice to accept G-d in your life, every woman has the right to abort, whether you like it or not.

God doesn't like abortion. To me, abortion is like murder except your taking away a life that could have done something good or bad in life.
