Not for actual consumption, or self-defense or vermin control, but shooting animals for sport is WRONG. I have no problems with people shooting white-tailed deer (after all, there are too many of them and venison is rather good), but shooting a bobcat or going to Africa to kill a lion just for the trophy is totally wrong.

to a Satanist there is no sin. But as a Satanist, an animal should NEVER be harmed except in self defense of for one's food.

I don't believe in "sin" but I do think that it is unethical to hurt any living thing for no reason. We humans are naturally omnivores, so we do need to eat meat in my opinion...so killing an animal (as quickly and painlessly as possible) is ethically acceptable if it is for food. Killing it because it is "fun" isn't ok.

I would consider it so... unless it's a dangerous animal like a spider, snake, bee, or something deseased to the point of makeing a human sick.

There's a big difference between some flaming a**hole of a coward such as Micheal Vick killing a dog for fun and somebody killing a cow for beef.
