When I was little I loved fruit and veg so I wasn't too bad, it was just mushrooms that I couldn't stand - still can't stand them really, but I'd eat them if someone else cooked for me. Oh, and lasagne, I used to hate it because of the sliminess, but then once I went to a restaurant with my grandparents and had to be all grown up and the only thing on the menu I understood was lasagne so I ordered that and I loved it! Now I adore lasagne and am trying to make up for the lost time!

Definitely Cheese ... used to hate the stuff, now a favourite snack. Only started drinking coffee when I was 18 too.

Still cant stick salad food though ... the likes of those pointless cucumber and celery especially.

For me it has to be the 'greens' including sprouts. I think that's because now I cook for myself they are not overdone, just al dente, not like the smelly mush dished up to me in my youth.

Fish.

I still don't like most fish, but I can tolerate it, and I'm starting to develop an appreciation for sashimi and sushi.

OKRA - it's a slimmy vegetable.

and now I LOVE IT, .... the fresher you steam/blanched it ... the better taste you can get.

okra is best eaten when dip with fish sauce, alamang, bagoong or with mashed tomato.
