This might sound weird to some of you but this has been happening my whole life.....The energy emanating from me turns out lights, demagnatizes credit cards, locks up computers, breaks watches, cell phones, pdas, cash registers, ANYTHING that I touch or I'm near....especially when I get upset or excited. I know that this is a real phenomonon that's been studied but I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT'S CALLED?
I do Feng Shui for a living so I'm very faimiliar with the energy surrounding us and I've spend most of my life submersed in the teachings of the metaphysical. I'd like to put a name to the things I see happening everyday.

Oh, and whatever this electrical current is has gotten A LOT more intense since the birth of my daughter 2 years ago. Don't know how that correlates but there's been a marked intensity in the frequency of this happening,

So it anyone knows what this is called, or where I can go look online to learn more about it that would be great.
Thanks!!

I think it's just magnetism. Everybody produces it. Some more than others. Sounds like you have a lot. Do compasses point toward you when you're in the room? Just wondering.

I tend to have a lot to, though nothing near what you seem to have. I can't wear any watches for very long and I get shocked constantly any time the humidity drops under 60%. Luckily in Texas, that's not often. :)

What do to about it? See a doctor. Maybe he can assess you and change your diet or something.

Something like this happened to me in college...I was actually banned from a computer lab on campus because I crashed three computers in a row just by touching them. ...and for some odd reason, I attracted water...I could walk through a parking lot on campus, clear blue sky, and a water balloon sized splash of water would hit the ground near my feet...this one really freaked out people around me who insisted someone had thrown a water balloon at me but couldn't find the broken balloon nor was there a tall building in the vicinity.

Don't know what it was and didn't even know it was something people had studied...I'll keep and eye on this Q just to see if anyone else comes up with an answer.

Does it do it all the time? Like every time? Then how are you using a computer?

Here's a article you may find interesting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_light_interference

The skeptical explanation to claims of SLI [Street Light Interference] is to consider it an example of observer bias: people are much more likely to notice when a street light near them turns on or off than they are to notice a street light in a steady state. This is compounded by a failure mode of street lights, known as "cycling", in which street lights turn off and on more frequently at the end of their life cycle. A top high pressure sodium engineer at General Electric, quoted by Cecil Adams, summarizes that SLI is "a combination of coincidence and wishful thinking".

Fascinating.

If you could turn lights on as well as off, people would start to call you, "The clapper."

I've heard of this sort of thing before, but don't remember the details about it. I'll do some searching.

I'm a bit surprised a doctor or someone hasn't dug into this, or do you avoid doctors?

Hazel/green eyes?

It's more common than you realize. Your empathy level increased upon the birth which increased the activity.
