Well, start by making sure that the older dogs arent jealous and have EXTRA attention. If they are envious of the puppy, then it will only make them hate the dog more. Most people say make sure that you give equal amounts of attention to each dog in the household, but I think that you should give the dogs that have been there the longest more. The puppy is young and wont realize that you are giving the others just a little extra every now and then. Also, you should try to train the puppy to "be nice" or "leave them alone" so that the older ones arent overwhelmed by the playfulness of the baby. Its good that the little one likes the older ones. My mom got a baby pom and she has an older one and it took about 2-3 weeks for the older one to warm up to Scamp. So just give it time, they will get used to it, and the puppy will calm down eventually!!! You cant make your dogs accept the new one, but you can ease them into it. Iniate playing, like a game of fetch, that way they can all run after the ball!!! Maybe then the others will see that the little one isnt all that bad! Just be patient. And if they "snip", let them, they are just showing dominance. Of course, watch so it doesnt get out of hand. A lot of dogs, at first, are not too friendly with eachother becuase they have to know where the other one stands...a battle of strengths. Well, good luck and keep me posted!!!

As the older dogs are not attacking your pup, assume that they are being accepting. At this stage that is all you can really do. They will sort it out for themselves. If the puppy crosses the line a mild snap from one of your older dogs will help keep the pup in line. Consider it an advantage. You have help with the training:)
You might consider separating the younger dog from the older ones now and then to give them some peace.

The puppy needs to be taken on walks and exercised- jack russel terriers are high energy and need stimulation. Maybe then the puppy will be less pushy with your other 2 dogs. Taking puppy out separately, also gives the older dogs a break. If you have a fenced in yard, let puppy out for a while and keep the other 2 in, and then switch around. It gives them a break and puppy learns to entertain himself ( herself ).

The older dogs won't likely hurt the puppy (they know its a baby). So let them work it out. The older ones will teach the puppy its manners with other dogs too, so when its older you won't have problems with it. Just keep an eye on them, til he's older.
Also, it may sound bad sometimes. A little growling. The puppy may cry sometimes, if he gets scared.

It depends on what your punishing your puppy for. Researchers say the best way to train or teach a puppy or dog anything is with positive reinforcement, yelling doesn't get you anywhere fast. Try not yelling when you puppy does something wrong, just ignore him/her. When he/she is being really good, praise the puppy and give treats to both older and younger dogs.

Your older dogs are used to being the 'kings' of the house, so bringing in a newbie can be tricky. Make sure you pay lots of attention to the older dogs so they don't get jealous of the puppy, and treat them special for a while. Before you know it, the puppy will assimilate and they'll all be good buds.

It will probably just take time. Older dogs sometimes don't take to puppies really quick cause they are hyper and things. Older dogs would rather lay around and enjoy the day not be pestered by puppies. It will just take time. I should get better.

Old dogs are set in their ways and your older dog may never warm up. So good luck and try to take your young doggie out to get all his or her play out so when he/she is around the other dog at least she can be calm and not a pest to the older dog.

You have to let the dogs work it out on their own. When i got my puppy, my other dog hated him beause he always wanted to cuddle and play, but now they are inceprible.

Your dogs will accept the puppy given time... right now they probably look at him as a nuisance and a pest... that is normal, i think.
take care.
