Some of these people don't know the difference between a search engine and a web site. I go to Witchvox.com almost daily plus my local newspaper online.

I usually stick around Yahoo for a couple of hours for my news, sports, and other things I might be interested in. Then I branch out, CNN, Sports Illustrated. Philosophical i just go to the quotegarden.com to their philosophical section and ponder their quotes for a while.

I really like Wikipedia, because you can look up anything from definitions, to current events, to famous people. It is a great resource to start any kind of research and often gives multiple links to help you continue your search
