It is not apostasy for a Christian to consider Islam and learn about it and to have respect for its people. But is is apostasy for a baptized Christian to embrace Islam as one's own religion. Such a person effectively crucifies Christ afresh and put Christ to open shame (Hebrews 6:6). This is because the Christ of Islam is not the Christ of the Bible. Islam denies that Christ even died on the cross, let alone was resurrected. They deny that he was God incarnate and is part of the Trinity.
Any religious leader claiming to be Christian but who practices Islam must be stripped of all Christian authority and put out of the Church.

Abandon, no..leave the church yes.
You cannot serve two Gods--you cannot be a Christian and a muslim at the same time and be 100% committed to both, they are two completely different sets of doctrines and beliefs!
That is just insane (not your question, the 'priest'). That is like picking and choosing the 'good' parts out of every religion you read about to apply to your life without having to take the more difficult aspects of it.

You cannot be a muslim and a Christian simultaneously. If by 'abandon', you mean would I leave their church, then yes. They are not a Christian pastor, as far as I am concerned. At least I wouldn't kill them, as muslims are permitted to kill so-called 'apostates' in Bukari hadith: 9:83:17---"Allah's Apostle said, The blood of a Muslim, who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."

I would pray for him/her. The Bible clearly states that "you shall have no other gods before me". If this priest really understood the Word of God, they could not be an Episcopal priest and a practicing Muslim. It is a violation of God's Commandment.

YOu can't be a Christian and a Muslim. That is like worshiping the devil and God at the same time. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians: For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

To worship any other God is blasphemy and that is strectly against Gods law. That is the first commandment.

She is one confused lady! I pity the people who might have been led astray by her. How can you claim to be a Christian and antichirst at the same time? Weird. She should be permanently removed because it's evident her beliefs are really weak. She cannot be trusted to teach. So I would abandon her as a leader.

God Bless.

Same answer as the LAST time you asked this. If my priest were to do this, I could not abandon my priest, because my priest would have already ABANDONED ME.

The only mediator between God and men is Jesus.
Without Jesus it would be a Satanic religion so yes I would leave.

(John 14:6) Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

(1 Timothy 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus,

(Hebrews 9:15) So that is why he is a mediator of a new covenant, in order that, because a death has occurred for [their] release by ransom from the transgressions under the former covenant, the ones who have been called might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.

(Hebrews 12:24) and Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and the blood of sprinkling, which speaks in a better way than Abel’s [blood].

In a similar way that marijuana is a "gateway drug", Islam is a "gateway religion".

Marijuana is not the worst drug in the world, but once you get started on that one it can lead to a slippery slope of much harder and more dangerous drugs.

Likewise, Islam can be fairly innocent, but also easily lead to more radical (i.e. devoted) forms of Islam and lead to terrorism

She is the one who has abandoned her faith, left God and is now denying Jesus as Our Lord and Savior. It's IMPOSSIBLE to be a Christian and a Muslim at the same time. I would never receive spiritual guidance from this priest...she has none.
