Good Question.
Happy life lonely. I'd never settle, especially if it didn't make me truly happy to begin with. We really only have one life, and I try to make the best of it everyday. Also, if you're in a boring relationship, you've not let your options open for truly finding that person that makes you really happy. That would be unfortunate, missing out on that opportunity.
The importance lies in finding happiness within yourself. Because, honestly, there will be people who care about you, and people you care about, but they come and go. Even the ones that stick around through the long haul, they have their own life to live. Ultimately, you're on your own. If you can't make yourself happy, what are the odds someone else can make you happy?

I wouldnt think a lonely life would be very happy? But if my relationship was mundane and i was desperately lonely or sad, 1st I'd have a talk with my partner about it,2nd I'd try to get my imagination to work and spice up the relationship, and make sure you are not clinically depressed go see your doctor. You can have a happy life alone without being lonely but I would try to work the relationship if it's worth it to you? only you know if it's worth salvaging but it takes two to make a relationship exciting or mundane!

What at least some of us know to be true is that there is real value to spiritual pursuits, and it appears that some people seek, and others find that which they are seeking. If a person's life is mostly about living with quiet desperation, that doesn't mean that there are not a lot of other options available, and the best ones I've found have to do with love. If fact, I can't find anything more powerful, wonderful, important or exciting than unconditional love, and those things that seem to go with it, including compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, understanding, contentment, joy and those other things that have a way of enhancing our lives and uplifting our spirits. If you believe that we have free will...and I do...then pursuing these things and finding them is about choices that we get to make, but it does seem to require some kind of commitment on the part of each individual to go in that direction. Best wishes to you on your journey!

So far I'm choosing happy life lonely. Wouldn't want to get involved with someone I knew was wrong for me just to have someone.

ideal answer would be to choose the latter but unfortunately for u n me life is not ideal. But considering we all have only one life .........only one chance , a happy life alone is not such a bad deal.
