What are some of your favorite verses and why?
Here are my three favorite:
Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was peirced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed"

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

Psalm 56:13 - "For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life".

The first two are just classic examples of God's and Christ's love for us. The Psalm is something I've experienced personally.
Please share the ones you like - thanks in advance for your posts.

Proverbs 15:15
"...he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast."

Ecclesiastes 9:9
"Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun."

Moses 5:11
"... Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient."

The first speaks to a positive attitude and how it colors our life with joyful feelings.

The second is similar, but it says be happy with your wife, your work and your yoyuth/life. This is the time and circumstance God has afforded you.

The last quote is by Eve when she realizes the transgression was meant to be and their fall was for their benefit. Even our mistakes make us better.

These are my favorite bible verses cause is all about LOVE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
-- 1 Corinthians 13:13

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
It is not self-seeking, nor easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongdoing.
It does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in the truth.
It always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves.
There is nothing love cannot face;
There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last forever:
Faith, hope, and love;
But the greatest of them all is love.
-- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
-- 1 John 3:18

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
-- Corinthians 13:7-8

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
-- Matthew 6:21

I found the one whom my soul loves.
-- Song of Solomon 3:4

This is my beloved and this is my friend.
-- Song of Solomon 5:16

I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me.
-- Song of Solomon 7:10

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.
-- Song of Solomon 8:7

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.
-- Song of Solomon 8:7

2 Timothy 2:12-14 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society

12if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.

14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.

And the truth of this verse is really starting to finally sink-in.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by His grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Colossians 1:14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

In Christ Jesus we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins. It is God Himself who put us in Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:30) so no one can take away our redemption and forgiveness by God. Halleluyah!
