jealousy is normal.
extreme jealousy is for those who are very insecure of themselves.
best thing is to avoid such feeling by feeling secure and happy of yourself and never compare yourself to others as you have to remember that each one is a unique gifted individual and that each one of us has our best features to offer in this world.
when you feel secure, fulfilled and happy within you and you have a generous/helpful attitude/value in life... you won't be jealous at all.

It is normal as they say to be jealous at times, however it is still the "green monster" and if you allow it, it will destroy.
I don't allow jealousy in my life. First of all, if it is regarding your feelings for another person, you cannot make someone love you, you can only hope they do. If you act all stressed out due to the "green monster", that person is going to step back and rethink that relationship. If you are "jealous" of material thngs in another's life, that is considered envy, which they say people get "green with" as well. Material things things don't make you any happier, they may make you a bit more comfortable, but are not a necessity.
Good luck in controlling the "green monster"!! You can do it, if you really want to!! : )

We all have jealous feelings from time to time. Like any other feeling, what matters is what we do with it. If there is a valid reason to be jealous (in other words, your boyfriend is known to cheat) then you need to deal with that problem. Personally, I'd kick him to the curb, because who wants that kind of problem.
If it's only one of those momentary feelings that you get at seeing your guy share a friendly laugh with another gal, and it's not at all inappropriate, then you need to just stop and NOT REACT. If you want to later, go somewhere alone and scream and stomp. But having a fit because of a little pang of jealousy will get you nowhere but single.

Jealousy is a human trait, it's how we act on it that defines who we are. If we let it run away with us then it can be classed as over reacting and this is when it becomes a problem. So, yes a little jealousy is fine, just don't act negatively when feeling it and you should be fine. Examples; If your friends got something new that can induce jealousy... be happy for them. If your boyfriends cheating, this isn't jealousy as such because it painful to find out such things. If a girl is paying your boyfriend attention then this can cause jealousy but be aware, his interaction with her could be purely inocent.

Yes, it is perfectly natural to become jealous sometimes. It is just human nature. Doesn't mean you are crazy or anything. Just try to put more trust in the person.
