because they can make alot of money form the UK - simple as.

They buy ONE house and ONE restaurant and work at it and work at it until they can bring more of the family over. The whole family will stay in one house and run the one restaurant until they can afford to buy another restaurant. The 'head' of the family or the organiser of the business will then take full charge of the restaurant and select staff from their family.

Another member of the fmaily will run the other restaurant along with a team of family members. Each time the business makes enough money to justify setting another restaurant or takeaway up, they will buy another and another until eventually they each have their own restaurant and their own house (this can be proved by the amount of indian restaurants where i live and the surname of every single restaurant owner) its quite shocking really but fair play as its a good business plan shame we dont work like that sometimes.

O,Boy,You are barking on the wrong tree.Millions of uneducated Indians go through untold hardships to get admitted and educate their children in English medium schools, including politicians who are opposed to use of English language as official and instructional medium. For middle and upper classes ,it's a given thing and no second thought about it.So.which Indians are you talking about?Their preference for English has been further fueled by great contribution made by Indians in IT(Information technologies) and their astronomical pay packets.By the way,Europe is no more the most preferred destination but USA is.
