I get ulcers from time to time and they go away after a week. I got this one on the inside of my bottom lip about 3 weeks ago and it was a bit different. It's kind of a 'hole', what i mean is is that it goes IN a bit like a crater. There was an ulcer there but that's healed and gone, but the crater still remains, it doesn't hurt (only very mildly) but I want it to go away and I'm getting worried, any ideas?..

Hi! I'm a dentist by profession & I usually advised my patients to use Debacterol that can loose the sensation after 5 mins you'd apply on the sores & it will be scar-less in 2 days..

That ulcers maybe due from stress & as well as heat in the body that can't go out of your body & that's one of the easiest access of heat the ulcers in the mouth.. just drink alot of water & relax to avoid it & take debacterol if it appears

Mouth ulcers starts off with a sort of tingling or burning sensation at the spot where the future mouth ulcer will occur. After a few days, a blister forms in the mouth with the top quickly sloughed off resulting in a red spot or a bump, which will then be followed by an open ulcer. The mouth ulcer appears as a white or yellow oval with an inflamed red border. Sometimes a white circle or halo around the lesion can be seen. The gray, white, or yellow colored area within the red boundary is due to the formation of layers of fibrin around the ulcer.

There are several ways to prevent and manage mouth ulcers. However, the best prevention of the disease unarguably requires sound dental hygiene which eliminates the presence of harmful microbes in the mouth, avoid or reduce spicy, acidic or salty foods and drinks which tend to predispose to it, and the use of antibacterial solution at http://www.oramd.com/ will help a lot to get rid of mouth ulcers.

ive never heard of a crater type ulcer, maybe thats something completely different? ask the doctor to check it next time you have an appointment but nothing to be panicking about now unless it hurts real bad. you can get ulcers for all sorts of reason from orthodontics to not eating well..but when you do get them try puttong bonjella (teething gel) on them and wow they dont hurt at all !

Nothing you eat is actually food; it's all "food products" which have almost no nutritional value. If you eat like that you are setting yourself up for a lot of health problems. Ulcers are one of them, but you will not get a hole in your stomach. You can get diabetes, heart disease, cancer, liver problems, mental problems, skin problems, etc. all from eating garbage on a regular basis.

i would quit the sodas and you might find your symptoms going away, i used to drink diet cokes till they ate up so much calcium in my joints that i could barely walk and my joints were cracking and popping all the time, it was real painful and i was always limping , i had to give it up a yr ago cause of it, not to mention they gave me bad mood swings as well, soda is trashy, i would quit drinking it if i was you, now i can walk a lot better and dont have mood swings like i used to.
