Don't you think it sounds whiny babies? Don't you?

not really, just because people wonder "why" they asked that question... so they dont get the wrong idea. for example, when somebody asks "did u put sugar in the cake?" they answer "yes, why?" they put the why so they dont make a mistake in baking the cake next time and to learn from her mistakes. also when somebody asks "did u lose weight" the other person might want to hear a compliment and ask why? and they will give a compliment or something lol
i guess thats why people put a why in the end of their answers.

:D Because these are stupid questions and there's no real answer for them. They just want to get things out of their chest and strengthen the emphasis with "why oh why" s.

But yes,they sound like cry babies really.Entertain you for sometime, but drive you mad afterwards.

that's because they don't have enough knowledge to prove their satements they repeat themselves.
