Nowadays? Yes. The gift of prophecy has ceased. However, in old testament times, some were authentic prophets, while others were false prophets & were to be stoned to death.

No, everything that was prophesied over me a few years back are happening and they are ALL GOOD.

I did not even believe in the gifts, until I heard and received them. I now KNOW the gifts of the HOLY Spirit are TRUTH.

I was told that my prophecy would happen over time, as in a little at a time. First I would be healed, and I have been healed from many things.

Then my relationships with people would change, those who are bad for me and only want to keep me down would be removed from my life, and they were. The man also told me that I would finally be who I really am and that people would like me, and I like me now and so do many others.

I am now in my learning stage, I had to learn to forgive even those who claim that they have done nothing wrong,THIS WAS HARD, VERY VERY HARD TO DO.

I have just this past weekend, went to my husbands new job. His boss was having a get together with employees and clients. I use to avoid people all together or blend in with the decorations. I would hide. Because of my x-anorexia, if someone would say Cheryl come get some food, I would break into an uncontrollable cry, and totally RAN-A-WAY.

NONE of this happened, I walked up to everyone and introduced myself, I talked and then when it came to the food. I took a plate filled it up and enjoyed some really great chicken. When I made a comment on how wonderful the chicken was, I had no idea that I was talking to a woman who owned her own business and she was the one who brought the chicken. I am now going to become her business apprentice, even though I have VERY little schooling and never went to high school. I bearly know math, and lack work history.

Everything I have learned come from the HOLY SPIRIT, and HE drove me to WANT to.

Pay attention to the prophecy, if nothing comes true the prophet is fake, but if it does GOD BLESS YOU as HE has me.

Prophets are Servants are as Slaves.
Prophets and Children differ nothing.
Both are know nots, have to be told.
Above a servant is "free" of slavery.

Revelation is to shew the prophets: Rev 1;
what adding law to grace is sufficient does.

Thank God it's only a shew and it ends well for you all.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I'll let the Bible answer this:

Deuteronomy 18:

21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

No of course not. the major banks all make huge prophets, and they are very real. There is also a Tyre company which is also very real, called pro-fit. The only one I know of is the prophet Jake the fake. I guess this from his name and guess what - I was right

If we take the meaning of 'prophet' as someone who foretells the future, then there are some who got it right half of the time, which are the odds one would expect.
If you are taking about religious prophets, which I suspect that you are, then they ARE all totally fake.

No, but just because one might be for real is no reason to drop your own center and go chasing after theirs. If I predicted the winner of this year's Super Bowl, would you bet all your assets on my football picks the following season? I doubt it, but if you did, and you lost the house, you could only blame yourself.

I think you are a prophet and you have great things in life you must do but first you have to open up and try to listen to your heart.

Maybe. Probably if they aren't fake by intention most are fake by outcome.
