On behalf of all the Atheists I know, I'd just like to say thank you for your support, and you too should search for the origins of your god, the scriptures you worship, and judge its validity based on when it was written.
All religious documents were written in a time when they were needed to progress- to stop the mass destruction of human life by gangs of nomads that raided every village of a continent. Religion was a necessary evil in the times where societies needed to be built, so the powerful created "inspirations" for the humble to work, otherwise they would just fend for themselves.
Religion is the only cause of wars- "letting go" is mentioned in every scripture- read yours with an open mind- thinking it was written by a mortal- inspired by god or not!

I'm very well, thank you. Hope you're having a lovely day.
It wasn't so brave for me. Even though my parents are religious, they let me be. I stopped being religious for a very stupid reason, at a time when I hadn't yet learned to think (I used to hate removing my shoes when entering a temple). I became atheist much later once I'd learned to reason. I'm agnostic now because age has lessened some of my arrogance.
Thanks again for your blessings.

It's always nice to see a light bulb turn on. Thank you.
"Myth has been needed precisely because we were not in a position to understand the universe on its own terms, through the language of natural law and direct examination of its workings on a material, rational level. Once that process of understanding is completed—and we are well on our way to achieving that—the use of myth can be discarded. Its continuing retention is already proving to be counter-productive." - Earl Doherty

I agree with that actually, an inquisitive mind is a good thing, but most Atheists don't seek the truth, they seek to mock God and His followers.
You make Atheists out to be tragic hero's or something, searching for a Truth and never finding it while being harassed by cults which they know are wrong.

bdlsalam, you are a very crafty fellow, disarm them first with your kind words and then draw them into...........i am not even going to speak it.
the HOLY BIBLE tells us do not let ANY man decieve you and to check everything against what the scriptures say.
In the name of Yeshua i rebuke this spirit of deception.

I agree with OJM....welcome and thanks.
Any words I can provide that will help you see the flaw in belief in deities, please let me know. If you are interested in reading, I can provide several titles of secular texts that might interest you.

just be your ownself in search for the truth. BY NOT MANIPULATING YOUR MIND IN JUST ACCORDANCES TO OTHERS BELIEVED without using any good logical judgements from yourself own INTERPRETATION.
