Prevent? Don't consume alcohol.

A small percent of alcohol is released out of your mouth and urine. Therefore it will keep coming through your mouth regardless of gum or mouthwash. Until the alcohol is out of your system of course. All gum/mouthwash does is mask it and blend with it. Mouthwash doesn't even last long, neither does gum. The flavour comes, then goes...then your back to ground zero.

Gum or mouthwash will help but that smell is not going anywhere till that is out of you. Know when you eat something spicy and you burp later that day and still spell/taste it, that is b/c it's still in your stomach. You just have to let it past. But until it does try gum and mouthwash or mints...anything like that

You can't, your heart pumps alot of blood through your lungs. This is how a breathalizer detects your blood alcohol level. Be careful and don't drive drunk (if that is why you are asking the question). Have a Great Day!

Mouthwash will only mask it short term!

You can't really - its like when you eat garlic or onions, the smell comes from your stomach contents!

I've tried them all and it's hard to beat pine needles. Just chew up and be sure and swallow a hand full.
