They want me to buy the program for Windows Vista...it is too expensive. If I could download some free software that is opensource later, that is fine, but I need to be able to access my word files now. If you are ging to tell me to download it, give me a link, please.

Once you open the documents, check them for formatting. Asode from that, Open Office is almost exactly like MS Office, and it is free.

restart your computer,
detect and repair under tools at the top of word page.
office suite 2005 was verry helpful for me at 19.95 then.it might take some shopping to find it.seen 2007 at target.
