You are of course correct. However, these people are in a minority. The fact is that most muslims do not endorse violence (though the Koran does seem to). The problem, unfortunately, is that most moderates make no noise whatsoever, it is these people who should stand up and speak up.
Non-believers are at last realizing that it is no good just saying 'live and let live' when the world is becoming more and more dangerous as a result fundamentalist beliefs, so they are making their voices heard. Moderate believers should do the same.

Even the "American Muslims" expect special treatment under U.S. law to accommodate their religious expressions. And even sue to get what they want. I don't call this speaking out against the terrorist's ultimate goal of Islamic law in western countries.
I'm not saying that I don't appreciate that some Muslims are willing to speak out against terrorism, but it's easy to yell at attackers from inside a fortress where your life isn't on the line. All the while working to make the inside of the fortress more like the outside of the fortress.

K, I think you are trying tooooooo hard to make your religion look better.
It does not change the fact that millions of muslims, kill and beat their wives. Because it is in the qur'an.
This does not pertain to this question buy I would like to make this comment anyway.
I had an argument with this muslim guy that said you are supposed to HIT a woman with a small object.
Why in Islam a man has the right to hit a woman, even if with a small object? To me your religion ,and every other religion, are just misogynistic and not from God.
Men wrote the so called holy books, not God.
I am not an atheist, I think religions are making a mockery out of God.

i don't know what you say..to me the terrorism means saying God doesn't exist and we are evolved from Apes(kind of monkeys not of angels ).this makes me tremble..as if i am dancing..lol..and those who steal the kids..this also makes me almost mad...of fear...these is high terrorism..and they never called a thief of kids as terrorist( stolen children's mom coulld loose their mind).to be sincere i have never heard a reason for which an atack was made ..so i just supposed it was because some economic interests...that is really bad manner /..to kill people for some food..or money..they should better try to work and make crops or something else..and nobody would come and steal their crops..
