I got an offer from the HR dept of a company and I accepted. I wondering though if I should write another letter of thanks to the person who interviewed me? Any suggestions? What should I say?

Generally all you have to do is accept the job.

They should have made a formal offer and it is best if you have a reply in writing (in case they turn around and say they never offerred you the job or claim that they offerred you a completely different job).

If the offer or your acceptance wasn't in writing, I would write a letter saying that you have accepted the job and that you will start on the agreed date (write it down).

Other actions are not that important, there is little value in saying thankyou for the opportunity and so on, because you can say that when the job starts.

I supposed you verbally thank the person who interviewed you. Its enough gesture. Having the job already, you may treat the HR dept staff with a snack after receiving your first salary as a thanksgiving, if you could afford it. Share your blessings anyway.

No thanks is necessary, (maybe they should thank you for accepting?). I hope the offer contains your pay scale as well as your title or responsibilities and also have something that indicates any benefits you will have. If not, you need to call HR and clarify these issues, then ask them to put it in writing before you start..
