which one when i sing in it would be a clearer indication of what my voice sounds like and/or would sound like on something like a recorded piece. they both sound fine to me, just different.

ben t - yes i do. i sing off and on for just the fun of it but ive never had actual training in it.

When you go into a recording studio, it's a very "dead" space to sing. There is lots of accoustical tiles designed to absorb sound. That way the mics pick up just your voice in its purest form. (It's actually very uncomfortable hearing the voice so real). Therefore, your bedroom would be a better choice.

I don't think they are related to vocal qualities lol. bathroom has more echo, that's all.

Your voice is still your voice, if you honestly wants to hear how you sounds like, get a microphone for PC. There are lots of free software to record your voice from the microphone and so you'll know if you're on tune or out of it.
