What did he really do other than try to get his memorabilia back? He didn't try to rob a bank. He claimed the police didn't want to help him ever since the murder trial. In the end, are the police really serious about charging him for serious crimes?

This seems like a case of tomfoolery by Simpson. He didn't really have any intention of hurting those guys, he just wanted to stand up for himself and teach them a lesson. I'd say this was a high misdemeanor, at best. Armed robbery and all that is like knocking over a corner store or a bank...this was basically an angry man trying to get what was stolen from him back.

Would any jury honestly not sympathize with Simpson? Would any judge see reason to punish him harshly?

I think these charges will be dropped or highly reduced soon...this is a joke. He was trying to get his stuff back, and was not in the most rational of mental states. Free OJ now...

The people, (experts) who came to the public through his trial, that represented a true high point in there live, now mostly working on Fox, are truly sickening, Nancy grace, furhman and co, and crowing over the news, Mr Goldman is full of hate, though not enough to distract him from his appearance. Simpson was supposed to disappear quietly live in a cave give his life to Jesus, but he just carried on as himself and it infuriates this group. i was in Miami for the road rage trial and it was nonsense. Yet he sort of maintained his dignity, that's what they hate. His distracters are full of hate and he isn't. Maybe dignity is a bad thing in The USA?

Yes, they will nail him to a cross in Nevada.

No, I do not think that a citizen may take the law into his / her own hands. However, I do not believe that would have happened in Vegas to anyone else but OJ. If this was Mr. Smith from the midwest, visiting Las Vegas, and had an argument over property in a room, he would have probably been sent to his room / maybe thrown out of hotel. It would have ended there. No one would have called a media blitz.

I have seen / listened to worse arguments on Judge Judy lol

I do believe he is guilty of the murders / the book did not help.

There is a question I wonder did he stage this for publicity ? And it backfired ??

How does it just happen the whole thing is recorded ? Seems odd business practice ?

I will tell you the truth, I am more interested to find out how he gets money into the country to make his bail. LOL. I would like to know who he is banking with. Where does he keep his money ?

Armed robbery is no joke. Another thing, I don't think he was trying to get his things back on his own because the police wouldn't help him...I think he was trying to get his things back without legal help because he didn't want to give his stuff to the Goldmans. Maybe they should charge him with contempt of court as well.

He is human trash and no matter how sorry YOU feel for him he's remains human trash and deserves any punishment he gets. I think you should re-evaluate your thinking processes....tomfoolery? Give us all a break.

He couldn't call the police to get his stuff back because they don't want to help him, they want to hang him (even though they share responsibility for his aquittal with their sloppy handling of the original crime scene outside his old home).

So now that he's gone and done this, people are saying things like "he thinks he's above the law," and "throw the book at him." The majority of the people I've spoken to can't even tell the facts of the original case against him--and that's what this latest episode is all about. Him paying for Ron Goldman and Denise Brown in any way possible.

"O.J. did what?! Throw his black @$$ in jail, that's where he belongs anyway!"

I sincerely hope they lock him away so that all this ugliness will go away (at least temporarily).

It is largely overblown in terms of attention this case received. However, he did act in a very irrational manner and the breaking-in incident did take place. So I guess they will proceed on those charges.

About time he gets his A** put in jail! I hope they throw the book at him. Come on what does he think since he got away with murder that he's above the law?

The American justice system:
'We botched up a cut-and-dried case some years ago, now we will fabricate a case and make it stick!'
And Fox News has already found him guilty and sentenced him to prison for life.

But you know what?
American justice cannot even 'fabricate' an airtight case.
Watch Simpson 'walk' and sue for millions. Or something equally outrageous.

laws are clearly defined in each states criminal code. he wouldn't have been charged as such had he not met the defined criteria. quit sympathizing where it is not justinfied and deserved.
