I think all three McCann children, Gerry, his brother and Philomena all display horrible arrogance.
No doubt a family trait. Have we seen their parents?
Can anybody throw any light on this arrogance?
Where does it come from and why havent they matured out of it??

Did you see "tonight" with Trevor McDonald. It seems to me as if the Portuguese police are throwing the blame on the McCanns to cover up their own incompetence. Another child went missing recently in Portugal in the same area, and it seems the police ended up beating the mother until she confessed to killing her child. She is now serving 12 years. The same Police officer was in charge of both cases, and now he is under suspicion.

i can't stand the brother john - i think he's so inappropriate and at times almost flippant
don't feel so strongly about gerry and phil - but john should be kept on a leash
please god we will get some good news about madeleine soon - i know it is a total long shot but i keep hoping for a miracle

Perhaps they appear arrogant but when your relative is accused of murder in the most heinous way then perhaps you would be just sticking together and giving what is called a united front.

I don't think anyone should be judging how these grieving people are behaving. Think of the person closest to you and their disappearance, how would you behave?
