I have a boyfriend, and I know that I love him, But I'm not sure if I'm in love with him. I know that love is undefinable. My bf and I have known each other for about 3 years now, and we dated once before, but we decided to just be friends for the time being. Well, we started dating again about 2 months ago. I would do anything for him. I would die for him. And every time he says he loves me a chill runs up my spine, and I get a warm fuzzy feeling, my heart starts to beat faster and it's just a really good feeling. We have so much in common, we never argue over anything. I also write poetry, and no other guy that I dated before him have gave me the inspiration to write like my bf has. I know that I should know the answer to this question, But honestly I just want others people opinions.

Thanks for your time, And thanks in advance.

Love is quite definable, it is the act of considering the self interest of another as if it were your own.

The chills, warm fuzzies, & elevated heart beats is physical attraction. Which is great stuff, but don't confuse it for love. It's a healthy animal body trying to procreate.

You sound very commited to his self interest. If he's commited to yours, particularly in the sense of ready, willing and able to support the likely result of physical intimacy. Go for it. Life is waiting.

But, if you're a couple of kids with no visable means of support, you might want to take it slow.

Why are you analyzing this thing to death? Just go with the flow and let things happen naturally. Let your emotions develop without feeling the need to define them all the time. When you're ready, you will know you are in love with him.

like someone told me before, something will just click. it could be while you and him were having a picnic or just enjoying a beach sunset. the moment it clicks, everything else falls into place. and then you panic because you realised you fell in love and worry if he felt the same and what if you told him would he freak out. that sorta stuff. (:
