For the last days, I'm 21...and feel god's judgment is as important to understand as is his mercy.

Will there be a stronger movement for God, a revival. Forget the mega churches, built for entertainment, don't you think we need to break cities down and preach the true word??

I'm talking about the fall of christianity in America. We're losing everybody my age. I've been to two big 12 universities, including two years at Baylor, a baptist focus, at least one that was intended...point being the christian's are as sinful as the unsaved, this is a huge sign of the lack of connection to God.

I think I understand what you are saying. We'll see :)

I believe that the Gospel of Christ has been watered down so as not to offend. But the Bible is clear that when the Gospel is preached it WILL offend. So if there is no offense then we should ask what is wrong.
Churches are pouring millions of dollars into bigger churches instead of using the money to get the pure Gospel out into the streets of our own town, our own country, and the world.

I do believe that there is a strong movement rising up among young people. They are tired of a washed-out church that claims faith but denies the power. They are tired of all the ear-tickling "milk and bread" sermons and are ready for some sink-your-teeth in steak - for themselves as well as to serve up to others.

If you feel God leading you to boldness, DO IT. Carpe Diem!
We are not promised tomorrow - and neither are the millions of souls who have yet to hear the Solid Gospel of Christ and His Cross.

Oooo. This is nearing one of my pet peeves!

1) Christianity needs to stop preaching Morals and start talking about the Gospel! They need to get their eyes off of the world and themselves and look on to Jesus!

2) Christianity needs to stop talking about morals and start talking about trusting God. The preachers day in and day out talk about 'being moral' and loving one another when they ought to be proving to their congregations that they can trust God to keep His word! It's not bad to talk about love, we ALL should love, but enough already. If we have the Spirit of God in us and we are trusting God through Jesus Christ then we are going to do what God wants us to do. But instead they are trying to go the back way and lean upon themselves to do the right thing when GOD'S SPIRIT will cause us to do the right thing!

They are teaching BACKWARDS!!!!!!

Trusting God is how we got into grace and a life with the Spirit, and then they have to start going their own way by trusting in their flesh, no longer having God as the focus but having instead a contest of will versus sin.

Thank you for reading this.

AS it is written,
Your sons and daughters shall prophesy
your young men will have visions
your old men shall have dreams
If you are hearing the call to preach the message of repentance, then listen and yell it from the mountaintops, the true children will hear you and find MERCY
You will be persecuted and ridiculed but know and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Stand, be strong and of good courage!

I agree with you, most Christian's have gotten cold and lost thier saltiness. I expect God to pour out His Spirit upon those Holy Ghost filled believers who put Him first in life. I anticipate miracles , signs and wonders in the mighty and majestic name of Jesus.
We need to get back to the Gospel and away from this feel good motivational fluff.

I sure hope not, at least for my children's sake.

I grew up in a religous fanatic household, and it sure is nice to finally live in a "real world", where there's no more delusional people praying and shouting out weird stuff.
