Also, is it right for my mom to not let my boyfriend's sister's Boyfriend, who is 21 ( doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs either), drive us places. He's been driving since he was 15 1/2. Should i be allowed to go with them when he is driving?

Unless there is a law in your state which prohibits it, I can't see a problem with it. As long as he is a sensible driver, and doesn't take foolish chances with his car, his life (and yours).
But if your parent don't want you to go, ask them why. It is a statistic that males under 25 are more likely to be involved in fatal accidents, accidents involving speed, and single car accidents. Maybe they would prefer a bit more driving experience for him, before trusting their daughter to him?

It doesn't matter what I say because I'm not your parent but looking at your added details.... I'd be asking exactly why he's been driving for about 4 1/2 years without a license. Did he have a permit? Was this his first try on the test or has he failed it before? How many times? Not drinking and doing drugs is a huge plus but those are not the only factors to consider.

As for the sister, how likely do you're parents think it is that she'll hand over the keys as soon as you're around the block?

No to your boyfriend, yes to your sister's boyfriend.

If your boyfriend is just getting his license then he hasn't really had much experience driving with others except the people or person who taught him. He could get distracted more easily with someone else in the car. Right now he should concentrate on getting comfortable driving by himself in the car before he add anyone else into the mix.

I just got my license and I would rather not be responsible for the lives of others in my car right now.

For your sister's boyfriend, since he's been driving for awhile, then he can handle other people in the car. However, I'd give your boyfriend a few months before wanting to ride in the car with him driving.

Why not? If he had accidents, then ya, i'd say she has a good reason to worry. Have him take her for a little drive to show he's a good driver.

It doesn't really matter what others think or you for that matter. You're a minor and what your parents say- it goes.
When you're 18, blow that place, then you can go wherever you want!
lol!

Why are you asking us? We cant' tell your mom what to do. You have to do what she and your father think is right. You're underage. Life's a *****. Deal with it.
