I just couldn't help myself... we just kept saying "one more can't hurt" and then they were all gone! Oh the shame! The shame of it all! We wiped out the Gefilte!

By the way, Tabatha... I don't like Gefilte fish either... The only reason i eat it at all is because my mom makes it from scratch and she works really hard when she does it. I would feel terrible if she did all that work and I refused to even eat it.... so for holidays i just kinda pinch my nose and eat it (not literally because I'm 20 and that would just be embarrassing to do at the dinner table)

Gefilte or no gefilte, that is the question. Wether tis nobler in the minds of men to eat said gefilte without horseradish or to take up arms against a sea of gefilte poachers and by opposing, end them.

I landed an 18" gefilte in Lake Cochichuate. It put up quite a fight. I used a red fly lure and 20 lb test line. They must stock the lake though.

You're right, we should stop depleting the dwindling gefilte fish population immediately.

Remember, folks, if the fish you catch looks like this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/9624983@N05/782079536/ ) , throw it back. Do it, for the sake of future gefilte platters.

Don't really know the answer to your question, but to the brother/sister above "Zakaullah"...

Correction... It's don't take them as "awleya'a", meaning leaders of your belief.

There's nothing wrong with befriending anyone who isn't a Muslim.

Peace.

Bigirv--you *have* to have it with horseradish, preferably freshly-grated. I tried a horseradish/wasabi mix last Pesach and it just wasn't the same.
