Last night I dreamed of someone that I barely knew who died several years ago. I haven't thought of him for years. We were in a pickup truck being driven by his brother and he hugged me three times and asked me if I still loved him. I told him that I was sorry that he died. Then I woke up. He died in a pickup crash.

Hi!

Could be that your subconscious is saying: lets draw a line under the past and all the unhappy things that happened and get on with the great potential filled mystery of the future that starts now.

The three hugs could be a sign of your coming to terms with things of which this guys tragic death is merely a symbol.

The dreamer is the only real expert on dreams, but I hope this helps.

Good wishes.

perhaps there's someone else in your life that this guy reminds you of unconsciously. or maybe there was something about the person who died that made you feel connected to him in some way, like a similar personality trait or something. That's a pretty intense dream, too. what were your feelings during the dream? that often has more to do with the real meaning of the dream than anything.
