Yes, love is like a tree because it goes through the Seed to everyone.
The Seed of loving anyone is to love God. True love is when you love someone for the same reason why God loves that one and without anything personal in it. God is full and needs nothing from anyone and so His love is has no selfish or personal reasons. However it has an aim: that of empowering the soul to reach his perfect stage. So this is true love and it is like a tree. If you love God you will love everyone becaus God loves everyone. If you love someone directly then your love will not reach everyone and it will not be like a tree. It will only be like a small branch....:) - you will love just your sathi, children, mother and father and that also not in an impersonal way .....
If the love we experience is not impersonal then it is not really love - it is attachment (moh) and it is deffinitely not like a tree.

How does a human distinguish a strong tree from a weak tree? If the tree has been cared for well, in the very early stages then it will develop a tap root that goes as deep as the tree is tall.
A weak tree in time of a storm will get blown over because it has not developed a good tap root. It has been living on the superficial roots on or near the surface, where it has been planted. If a drought occurs it will succumb to the heat and lack of water and die, from the lack of a well developed tap root.
A strong tree is one that can withstand winds and drought for it has a tap root that has gone deep, that it can use to draw water with. The tap root also gives it strength in times of strong winds and storms.
The tap root in man is no different. Faith, determination, and certitude are needed in both the physical and spiritual aspect of all human lives.
Trust, respect and commitment are needed between a man and woman for a relationship to blossom into a loving relationship. If nurtured by both parties, love will thrive.
Spiritually man must develop this tap root also. The same qualities apply, trust, respect and "Faith". These make up the fabric of the tap root for all humans. Then when storms or droughts arise, man will not get blown over or fall helplessly because he has been depending on surface or superficial roots to sustain him.
Then "True Love" will develop within the "Heart" of man.

Yes, true selfless love is like a tree. The tree teaches us how to be selfless.Even though we pelt stones at the tree to get the fruits,it still yields more and more fruits for us which is the nature of true selfless love.Selfless love gives and gives and doesn't demand anything in return just like a tree. What a wonderful lesson it teaches us!!!

Love is like an oak tree. You plant the acorn, fertilize it, water it, and take care of it and it will grow strong, but if you toss it out on the ground and leave it, it will rotten and die. Love starts as friends, you both have to work and take care of that friendship, in time it will grow into love, and will be strong like the oak tree, but remember it takes time and patience. Most important it takes two.

Love is a tree without ROOTS, which spreads faster. Human is also a tree with roots up, an inverted tree as per Krishna.

Yes you can compare love with tree. Love grows up when it received understanding, emotion, sincerity from others and in the same sense tree grows when it receive water. When we are spending time for both it gives us good result in the same way. LOVE IS LIFE IN THE SAME SENSE TREE IS ALSO LIFE.

No, love is like a fire. In the beginning, if it burns too hot, it tends to use up all the fuel, and burn out.
But if it's stoked, and fed slowly, it settles into a glowing bed of hotter, more passionate coals that can last a very long time.
