Try Valerian Root & Melatonin. You can get both at Walmart in the vitamin/herbal section. They both work for me. And they are very inexpensive!!!

Just start waking up earlier and you will automatically feel sleepy earlier at night. Try lying down in bed 15 minutes earlier every night until you reach your desired bed time. Have a glass of warm milk before sleep. Have a warm, relaxing bath while listening to soothing music. Read a really boring text book while lying in bed. No coffee/black tea/soda within 2 hours of your bedtime.
For the computer thing, try putting somewhere that would make it difficult for you to access it all the time, maybe in a place where you wouldn't have any privacy like the kitchen or your parents office/room. Try setting yourself a prize, e.g. put away a dollar for every time you get off the computer on time and then use the money for something you've been wanting. Ask your parents to help you and maybe they can give you some money for it as well. Have short term and long term goals e.g. small prize is a manicure or whatever, at the end of a successful week, then another prize would be maybe a new outfit after a successful month. Keep a chart and mark every day of success. If you miss a day, start again from 1.
I did see a documentary of how teenagers have hormone levels that actually make them more alert from 10am to about 2 am, so this one high school somewhere in Europe started school at 10 am and found the number of kids late to school decreased. So, it's not really ALL your fault (I don't know how old you are).
Anyway, try things like that or other similar ideas and start small, but consistently and surely you will reach your goal. Good luck!

Either sleeping pills like melatonin but there's a risk that you might sleep too long. Or you can risk being groggy for one day so you can sleep better at night.
As soon as 9:25 comes around shut your computer off. Tell yourself no exceptions.
Or you can go to Best buy and ask the geek Squad if there is any program that will automatically shut your computer off at 9:30 or at least put it in standby mode.

As for the computer...shut it down @ 9 pm at the latest on school nights. If you have insomnia I would suggest you try melatonin. It can be purchased over the counter and has helped me get to sleep in the past. Check out this info first and only take the recommended dosage. Also stay away from caffeine 4 hours before bedtime.

There is a body type that if you do not go to sleep on "your hour" the brain get's active and than you can stay few more hours.
Try to get up early and for few days forget about the computer, just read a book or a text book, your body will adjust and you will find out what hour your system will need to "sleep".Anyway at least 7h is good to have each night.

To limit time for the computer, set a timer and when that goes off, turn off the computer. It's tempting to keep doing what you're doing, but it will be there tomorrow.
You will have to retrain your body to go to bed early. Try getting into a routine before going to bed, that way when you start to do the routine (whether it is stretching, or reading a book, or whatever) your body will know it's time to relax.

If you set your alarm 2 hours ahead of usual, will be tired enough to go to sleep a bit earlier. If you are unable to discipline yourself now, how do you plan on working?

yeah, i have that problem too. especially since i have a laptop and just sit in bed and stuff.
just get some nyquill and take it like thirty minutes before you want to go to bed, then, you wont have a choice but to go to sleep cause you can't fight that stuff.
