To get tipsy but not too drunk? because i feel it after one cooler, I don't know how muchh to get not too drunk

I hate when people don't answer the question, but instead lecture me. If i'm going to drink, I'm going to drink. A few anonymous people leaving me advice not to drink isn't going to change my mind. =) If you're not going to answer the question, don't bother leaving a comment.

I would say maybe 2 or 3. Pretty much just know when to stop. Most people can't control themselves and they'll just keep on drinking for the hell of it. If you are feeling a bit tipsy/buzzed then just stop there and if someone offer's you another just them, not right now. Or you could also just keep the empty beer can in your hand to ward off anyone trying to pressure you to have another. If you are able to do that then you'll have no problem controlling your drinking.

Don't be ashamed to grab a water after a couple drinks too just so you can sober up a little.

That actually depends on each individual. Some people can drink like 5 or 6 and feel tipsy, while others only need 1 or 2 to feel tipsy. I think you should take it easy on the drinks (like drink a little at a time) after 1 cooler because you already feel it. Any one after the 1 cooler can make you drunk...you just dont know. Also, dont go overboard with the drinking. If you drink way too much, there is a potential of getting alcohol poisoning (i knew somebody that died from it)

Yeah I know what you mean. I had my first drink at 14, I am now 17 and I'm fine, I'm not an alcoholic, never have had any problems whatsoever and I have perfect grades in school. But only those with minds mature enough should do it. I've always known when I've had too much to drink. But there is no right "level" for a small body of drinking. A big, weighty person could be the biggest lighweight you'll ever know. So it depends on your body, because everyones body is different. So the best advice is that you should know when you've had enough. If you have to ask, you might not be able to handle it.

Just remember, if you're gonna drink, be smart about it!! Good luck!

If you ever decide to start having sex at a young age, even if you have strict parents, please just ask them for birth control, they'd rather you be safe even if they don't want you having sex, and always, even if you're on the pill, use condoms! And if one of those breaks go get an adult and get the day after pill. It doesn't matter if it's hard to talk to your parents about that stuff, it's better than having a baby at a young age with a guy that might not be a good father or even worse, getting an abortion and possibly regretting it later when you have kids and love them! Sorry for the rant, but so many kids your age don't know anything about sex ed! The pull out method doesn't work and your parents aren't as strict as you think! Also try to learn the difference between a guy that cares about you and one that wants to get in your pants. Don't be naive.

I'd say if you're not used to drinking, 2 or 3 would get you a buzz, maybe a little tipsy. And you seem pretty sensible, not wanting to get too drunk. Probably don't drink more than 4 and you'll be right.

Safe limits for women are no more than 1 standard drink per day. This is not equal to drinking them all at once on a binge (i.e. saving all 7 drinks for one night) and you will definitely get drunk. If you are small for your age, make it less. A standard drink is equivalent to 1 can of beer, 1 wineglass size of wine, 1 shot of hard liquor.

If you are pregnant, or have epilepsy, or are going to drive, it's dangerous. Studies have shown even 1 drink slows down reflexes. Every bit of alcohol that you drink WILL kill off some brain cells. Brain cells do not grow back.

I would not be responsible if I didn't emphasize what others have said, it's illegal to drink at 16 years old. If you must, it's better to just have a glass of red wine with your dinner at home (health benefits, safe social environment).

You arent supposed to be drinking... its against the law. This is how you are going to end up Prego and alone. Concentrate on School and your future.

WOW look at the 16 year old that thinks they know everything! IF I am going to drink I will do what I want. LOL You know I have been there and I sure wish I had listened to more people at your age. I probably wouldnt be wasting my time in life right now. You should be happy that people that you dont know care enough to give you any advice.

If you cant handle what people have to say, then dont ask the question.

You don't want to hear it. I made the same mistake at your age. You don't want to hear the preaching? Then no preaching. If you want to have a drink with your friends, then have one and then nurse the next one as long as you can. Protect yourself. It's fun to have some drinks, but when you're young things can happen that you're not ready to deal with. I hope you watch out for yourself and still have a great time.

It depends on how much you weigh but since your underage, you're not suppose to be drinking anyway. Tipsy or drunk, you still have to be 21 to drink.

The reason that the legal drinking age is 21 (18 in Australia) Is because you are responsible enough as an adult to know what your limits are.

If you cant accept criticism from people in regards to your idiotic question then you are defiantly not mature (or old) enough to be drinking. Regardless of what you think, your a long way off being a mature, responsible adult.
No one thinks you cool when you drink.
