I seen some cops myspace and friends that know cops and they never say that there cops. Do cops like to admit their cops or no? Could it be because of the image they get?

On myspace? They can get into trouble if they say they are cops on their myspace pages...it's against most regulations...

Do you feel obliged to tell everyone where you go to school or what you do for a living? Doesn't have anything to do with any perceived image of them.

As soon as someone knows your a policeman, two things generally happen. They start hurling verbal missiles at you or start asking legal questions and all manner of things about " the "job".

At least the town, I'm in, very few police even go to bars because they have to listen to others complain about how the police ruined their day, month, year life and in a bar generally want to start a problem.

Just ain't worth the hassle. There is no obligation they tell you they are police when they are off duty. They have a personal life and contrary to belief, their job isn't really their life.

They do not put that they are police men because if the guy they arrested last month sees them online they could try to get revenge.

Dude. Were you born yesterday?

Private life and work life are two separate things.
