Im 18 years old and Im really getting fustrated with my "piegeon toe" problem. I've had the problem since I was a little girl, and unfortunately, my parents ignored the condition. I want to resolve it, but i don't know what to use. i heard of heel cups, but don't know where to buy them? =(

It really sucks that I cant't walk in heels, play sports, run, and or course walk right!

ANY ONE KNOW A GOOD STORE AROUND LOS ANGELES OR IN THE VALLEY TO GET ANYTHING THAT WOULD HELP ME WALK STRAIGHT??? PLEASE!!!!!

You need to be diagnosed by a doctor and wear the equipment the doctor prescribes. You can't just go into a store to buy something to cure 'pigeon toes' ... but if you want to try to have 'straighter feet' when you walk, get a pair of soft leather moccosins, and two metal bars that are at least 6" long. Sew one bar at the 'heel' of each shoe, and one bar at the toe, and wear them every night when you sleep. This will 'train your legs' to stay in that 'straight' position as you sleep ... but you really should go to a doctor ... if your 'leg bones' are crooked he may prescribe something different for you ... and it's UNCOMFORTABLE sleeping in moccasins that are 'sewed together' with metal bars between ...

I was pigeon toed as a small child and my parents had me wear special shoes with a bar between them when I went to bed at night. All I remember of them was they were very uncomfortable and my parents said I used to bang them against the wall. They soon gave up on the shoes. Even so, I don't really have a problem now. My feet turn in slightly but it's not really something that's worth the pain and effort to have fixed. If anything, I prefer walking the way I do rather than a lot of other people who walk with their feet turned outwards. They remind me of ducks walking.

well you should go to a doctor to get the best advice. Actually your parents should have dealt with this when you were young, it could have been corrected easily. You could try wearing your shoes on the wrong feet.

Do a lot of rollerblading - that's what helped me. The motion of pushing your legs and feet out, away from each other will help build the muscle that way.

If this for a child you can go to a Children's Hospital in CA, they would be able direct you and give treatment for this condition.

That has to be fixed with a brace by the time you are a toddler (the bones are still soft).
