I've been sick for about a month. At the beginning I had a sore throat, fever, stuffy nose. Now my nose is just congested and i have a really bad headache. I noticed today that under my jaw is swollen and it hurts to touch. Also, my lower cheek, right above my jaw is very tender. Could this be related to my cold? And can colds even last this long? I've been feeling bad for about a month. And I've been getting colds and sinus infections at least one or two a month for the past year. Could there be something else wrong with me? I get sick all the time.

I took antibiotics for 10 days, and that didn't do anything.

You may have a sinus infection as a result of your cold. You may need some antibiotics to clear it up.

Yes, sinus infections can last quite awhile. You should drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest.

I feel your pain. To me, carpets, ventilation systems, allergies and conditioned air are evil!

If you have the choice you might want to go live to a relative's place a few weeks and see if it changes anything to your condition.
