Alli is nothing but an appetite suppressant, it has absolutely no effect on the metabolism. How much weight you lose while taking it is totally up to you. If you can follow a balanced, reduced calorie diet then you should get results while taking it. If you have a problem with overeating you may see results when taking it but most likely the weight will return if/when you return to your old eating habits.

there are no magic pills when it comes to weight loss.

I heard on the news that people who used alli lost on average 5 pounds more a year than someone who ate healthy and exercised.
